For my marketing event I decided to put on a trunk show during coast guard fest in Grand Haven MI at our other store location. This event took place July 25th. Simply Curated is a brand started by Sarah Cooley originally from New York and previously moved to Grand Rapids to launch her company. Grand Rapids carries an assortment of her Simply Curated cocktail candles but Grand Haven did not until the trunk show. At the trunk show Sarah brought her entire collection of candles. We made a promotion to go with the trunk show it was buy $30 worth of candles and get 15% off your entire purchase. The trunk show was not very successful.We didn't sell any candles but we did get her name and brand out to the people.
